Drew, I don't know whether you have piriformis syndrome ... hopefully someone
else can answer that. Have you seen a physical therapist?
I've been reading a book called "A Headache in the Pelvis" by Wise and
Anderson. They talk about how an injury can leave the muscles in the pelvic
region
tight long after the original injury has healed. This tightness causes a lot
of pain. You might benefit from reading it to see if your symptoms fit the
pattern they discuss. Also, back injury cause a similar problem, chronic tension
in the back which prevents healing.
