I had drastically different experiences in my eyes also. Everything
they did was more painful in my right eye. It's been a year and my
right eye is always more dry/irritated. I'm convinced that perhaps
the wrong drops were put in my eye at some point or something,
because it's never been the same. The iridotomy was also painful in
this eye and the left was like nothing was ever done to it. That
said, my vision is fine, but it was several weeks before it got to
where it is now. Also, I had a terrible feeling of foreign body in
that eye, which turned out to be blepharitis (inflammation/infection
of the glands in the eyelid margins. I was put on antibiotics and
now I religiously (every night) scrub the eyelid margins with baby
shampoo solution and Q-tips. I have not had that foreign body
sensation for months now. Feel free to go back and read my previous
posts. It does take time for things to heal and I was very
impatient. Regards, Cathy
