Hi all!

I've been a lurker on this list for a while now. Last week I finally
pulled the trigger: I'm about to get my ICLs inserted starting next
week. Left eye on Monday, right eye (my dominant one) on Tuesday the
week after.

First I'd like to thank everyone on this list for all their posts and
insights. Having this resource available really aided me in making my
decision. Thanks guys!

I suspect I'm probably somewhat different from most of the posters
here since I only have medium myopia (-4/-4.25) and very mild
astigmatism (<0.25). Hopefully my experiences with ICLs will be of
interest to those that are looking into alternatives to Lasik even
though they may be eligible for it.

I've recently started a small blog where I will document my ICL
experience. Right now it contains mostly background info explaining
how I got to where I am now and why I chose to go with the Visian
ICLs. But of course I will update it with details of the procedure and
