RE: [piolusers] Re: Intro - Considering Visian

believe me, there are minor side effects but the fact that i have 20/30 vision
compared to 20/600 vision, it is worth it. but the effects differ from each
person. i live life differently now and i went to St maarten too afterwards to
celebrate, it was a great feelign to be able to finally take a vacation and go
to the beach without the hastle and worry of contacts and my 2" thick
glasses.Robert A.Hankard II

Thanks for your quick response. I don't think toric lenses were mentioned to me
(admittedly I was a little over-whelmed during the initial consultation and
after all those tests). What is the perceived advantage?Lens exchange was
mentioned during a consultation, and that sounded good as it would prevent
future cataract surgery. However the Dr. did not see that as a viable option
right now. And I'm hoping to have the least invasive surgery possible!I can't
believe I'm even considering this as only a month ago I never even knew it was
an option. It sounds too good to be true. Especially since my vision is so bad.
From what I've quickly read today it doesn't sound like anybody wishes they
hadn't done it.Thanks for forming this list.... it makes it much easier to
consider this surgery knowing what others have experienced.~~Lisa~~
