I have heard of colloidal gold being advertized, but if it was as
effective as colloidal silver, we should have heard that by now.

I hate to question something just because it is unfamiliar, knowing of
several things that work without our understanding that they would.
Gold has entirely different properties to silver. Just because it is a
so-called "Noble metal" does not mean it has healing benefits for that
reason.
