Jessica,
I admire your ability to see through the Bush administrations
propaganda. When you try to believe Bush, you start to ask your self
questions such as - why does Bush's positions seem to flip-flop just
like he accused Kerry?
From that point, any trust in Bush breaks down cauz he can't seem to
answer his critics. Then takes the arrogant position like he doesn't
need to say anything. But that's the role of a President to
communicate not just read words given to him by his pr firms.
Bush has stated on record that he does not support nation building.
But then how can he say this is about freeing the Iraq people? It
doesn't make sense.
People are aware of this. Unless you are totally gullible or blinded
by this administration, something won't seem right. And this is not
about liberal spinning. It's as clear as day in black and white.
How can the US (GWB) all of a sudden be for freeing Iraq? When Bush
was elected in 2000, he never mentioned anything about mass graves,
yet he knew this reality because his administration and the CIA sold
Saddam weapons of mass destruction when he was our ally. So how can
the US do business with a terrorist regime and now we are for
freeing the Iraq people from a brutal dictator?
If you are a person so dellusioned as to be oblivious to these
facts, then you msut be so fearful and brainwashed to obstruct the
truth from your mind. IF you are making a decision based on ignoring
the facts, how can the outcome be correct? It can't. Kerry, from a
real Republican point of view, is a leader with a strong set of
principles, not someone who is going to say anything to the voters.
Bush is the real flip-flopper.
Bush, it's time to step down. All these new voters are going to
clinch Kerry's victory!!!

Hi Tanya,
If you believe in the essence of Constitution, which I'm not too
sure if you actually do, then you wouldn't say things like let the
government do the thinking for us. You know what you said and I
understand you to mean that you disagree with dissent.
I understand you to mean that you'd rather not criticize the actions
of the government.
I disagree with you since I believe that our Founding Fathers have
given me the right to criticize the actions and policies of
government, and to question the decisions of authority. This is why
I believe that you really do not support the Constitution, or at
least don't fully understand it. The Constitution is written simple
enough so that ordinary average people can understand it.

From a bi-partisan point of view, pre-empting Iraq can be seen as an
action that can have positive consequences. It is not up to one
person to solve this problem. therefore , it is not soley up to one
President... it is not GWB who is preventing strikes, it is CIA,
FBI, and law enforcement. And the better they communicate the more
effective they will be.
When you look past distortions like the Swift Boat Veterans and
their untruthful tv ads, you'll see the fact is that Kerry was a war
hero in Vietnam and that he denounced the war when he returned. He
was correct, atrocities were committed in Vietnam, illegal acts of
human brutality and cruelty. Any compassionate soldier will say war
is brutal and how much they hate it. But even in war there are rules.
GWB has stated he respects Kerry's service in Vietnam, since there
is nothing to question. Looking at qualifications, Kerry still has
more experience in war.
