Thanks for your thoughts on this. I was just
thinking...before the Internet it was very hard
for people with similar "outlying" beliefs to
find each other. So many of these ideas would
just die with the individual if they couldn't find
support for them in their immediate envrionment.
Physical immortality is such a concept, and we
are all "feeling our way around it" and while some
are focusing on medical science, some are focusing
on spiritual beleifs. It seems that these 2 realms
are destined to merge.

Simple idea, and true.
Neuroscience supports your idea that the body
is responsive to the brain. As transmitters affect
the whole of the body's nervous system.
I think...
It is time that I look in to how (and why) transmitters
affect cellular behavior; I would like to know
the limits of mind-brain influence.
As I think about it, though, the aging metric does
appear arbitrary. Though I do not know how wise it
is to deny such a measurement.
