This is a group for dental professionals who are interested in discussing evidence-based periodontal therapy and advanced dental hygiene practice issues including laser therapy.

Objectives include:
1. Disseminating evidence-based clinical information to oral healthcare professionals including dental hygienists, dentists and periodontists.
2. Assisting oral healthcare professionals in distinguishing between poor quality/weak evidence and higher quality/strong evidence.
3. Sharing collective expertise to improve therapeutic outcomes for patients in a variety of practice settings.
4. Educating oral healthcare professionals about new oral and general health promotional initiatives, innovations and activities.
