I'm thinking that I should probably apologize for that last post... Bad day... I
really am a good person and have an even better heart... Would do anything for
anyone... I hope you all won't let my ranting convince you of anything else...
Anyway... If anyone would like to correspond with this Ga Peach stuck in
Massachusetts (lol) Hey! Feel free to give me a shout...
Peace,
Rachel

ostomate...they run screaming in the opposite direction... I know... I should
look at it as their loss but the rejection is still hurtful... Don't really know

understand where I'm coming from...

Thank you, Jerry --Russ is telecommuting now, too (not a full day's work's
worth, but enough to keep him on the payroll), but they expected him back
on-site this coming Monday. He told his boss another 1-2 weeks before he can go
back in, but that I'll bring him in 'to visit & take a quick check through the
office & plant' next week. He commutes an hr each way & works 10hr days
(management), so when he does work, he's gone 12hrs/dy 5dys/wk. I think it's
insane that he'd be able to go back in even 2 weeks, but that's his
plan/hope/wish. It's only been 3 days since they cut the new (small) hole &
enlarged & deepened the bigger one. It helps a LOT to hear that your wound
healed in one month. I know Kaj's wound was much larger & deeper, but the 6
month's healing there made me wonder what's in store for Russ. I hope he's
closer to one month than several.
Thank you,
Meghan, Russ' wife
> I had a similar issue when my colostomy was
reversed. The area where my stoma was got infected (very common) and had to be
cut open. You could have dropped a large grade A egg in the hole it was so
large. It didn't hurt but it had to be packed twice a day and it took 4 weeks
to fully close up. I was lucky enough that I could work from home. Keep the
faith. This too will pass.
