I have found I was allergic to the stoma paste, and it makes a sore ring around
the stoma when I use it (Ive had an ostomy since 1995) I just use the wafer (two
piece system, convatec) I don't get sore as long as I don't use the stoma paste

the barrier, to aid adhesion. (The nurse told me this). Some time ago
I forgot to do this and my soreness disappeared. I have not used the
