the filter to prevent leakage. I didn't know it was going to happen
to me until I woke up as well. I beat cancer, survived an ostomy
and one year later my husband died at age 52 suddenly from a brain
tumor leaving me with kids to raise alone. Just tell you mom that
she may not like what has happened to her but that everytime her
system has output....it is a celebration that she is alive, all
systems are go and that she is still here on earth. People who love
us could care less about how we go to the bathroom...life is too
short for that.

not sure why she hasn't gone for the 2-piece appliance. I don't
think she's old, but she has mentioned that she is having trouble
dealing with it since she got it so late in life- also, she didn't;
know she was going to get one until she woke up from the
operation.... Is there a particular brand you would recommend?
