Hi there,

i'm on this list in hopes to find some information to help my mom
adjust to her ostomy bag, at least till she can undergo the reversal
surgery.

What she is having trouble with right now is a block regarding sex.
She and my stepfather were married in Sept, then she had surgery the
end of October. Since then, she is having trouble getting past the
bag, thinking that it would get in the way of sexual activity. How
do others deal with this situation? What can i share with mom to
help her get past this so that she and my stepdad can resume sexual
activities? i just want to see her happy, and even though i know my
stepfather is understanding, there has got to be a way for them to
exercise their marital rights and she can feel desirable again.
