I was getting a bad rash around mine and discovered it was the tape
connected to the barrier that I was allergic to - it was a stomahesive tape.
I switched to the Durahesive from ConvaTec (Natura) and haven't had problems
since (knock on wood).
You can contact ConvaTec and request samples.
