THANKS for the prayers! They are so gratefully appreciated!

We had a positive report last night - he had good color and was stable.
Unfortunately, that didn't last. This morning, he apparently had a stroke and
he developed fluid on/around his brain. They took him into surgery to drain the
fluid and were trying to stabilize him when his entire system started shutting
down. Kidneys, liver, etc. They also said both arms from the elbows down are
crushed. They still haven't been able to operate on his arms due to his blood
pressure going very high and then plummeting when they had him in surgery.

The doctors now say it's up to Pat and God. They do believe he is strong and
said how he does in the next 48 hours will no doubt determine how he will do.
They said if he makes the next 48 hours, he has a good chance, but will be in
ICU for up to 3 months. He is in bad shape, but I believe with all of us
praying for him, God is listening.

Please continue to pray for him and his family.

Also, if you would like to send him words of encouragement, I can send the
messages to him and his wife and have her read them to him so he won't stop
fighting. Pat is a very special person. He was there for us when Mom was dying.
On a couple of occasions, I had to call on him for help with Mom and after she
passed, he helped me build her casket.
