Hi Jacy,
I have never written to you before, so I can be considered new I
guess. I read your posting today and felt I needed to respond. I
attended 3 youth rallies back in the ´80s. Boulder ´83, DC
´84 and
San Diego ´85, the friends and memories last forever. I have never
been a counselor at a rally due mostly to the fact that I don´t
live
in the US and workwise would be close to impossible. I also felt
down due to the fact that another fellow camper from the ´80s had
the great opportunity of being a counselor this year. It would be
the first time she would be returning to a rally after so many
years. I also felt I wish I could relive the experience but now as a
camper. Melancholy does get the hold of one and sure takes a while
to go away. Well that was just a thought on your thought.
