Greetings,

As some of you know, we have been caring for my father since he was
diagnosed with bowel cancer in May, they tried to operate to remove the
tumor but it was too big and the cancer too far spread to try and help him.
So they put in a colostomy bag to give him a little comfort in the time he
had left.

For the past week or so we have been on hand nursing him virtually 24 hours
a day as his final reserves of strength deserted him, and he, in himself,
seemed to give up his fight for life about three days ago.

Sadly, at 5.20 am on the 12th July, we lost him. The one blessing, for him,
the end was quick and painless, and he is now at peace.

He would have been 80 on the 22nd of October.

With Regrets
Carol, Gordon, Kristine and Gordon Jnr.
