Hi,
I too am from new york
i found talking to people in support groups a great help
I have made a few friends on yahoo with ostomy's that we can laugh
and have fun talking on here with..
Keep up with groups on here..support on here and emails or yahoo chat
keeps your mind busy and off your problems..cause there is always
someone else worse off..so i keep that in mind and keep a positive
attitude
I had crohns since i was probably 15 they think so its been many many
years..mised events..accidents to embarrass...and a marriage it cost
me
i am now married have had an ostomy surgery last october have been on
a cruise..on a car ride for more then 30 mins with out a potty
stop..life does get alot better and yes there are days not as
good..but more and more are getting better...
Debbie i am usually on line 24/7 and do emails alot..i am a retired
stay at home person now..and loving doing what i want and when i
want...and not living in a bathroom..
