>> my name is Tim, and I am an Ostomate with no regrets. I had lapro. surgery in
1/2008, my hospital stay was 10 days. They sent me home and for one month I had
an in home nurse. My surgery lasted for 10 hours they accidentally lacerated my
bladder. Recovery for me was quite lengthily. Nuff said about me.
I live in southern California, If you live locally I would be glade to assist
you in any way please don't hesitate to ask.
Hi Tim.. we're Northern Cali.. Sacramento County, but we do travel down south
sometimes (particularly to Disneyland when we can). I'm sorry to hear about
your bladder. I have a damaged bladder myself, though not lacerated (permanent
nerve damage) and cringed when I read about yours. How did you manage the
'surprise' of a harder, longer recovery than I'm guessing you'd expected to
have? Did you have any of the job security worries my husband has --did it work
out fine for you? It sounds like it was quite a lot to go through. I hope they
were able to fully repair your bladder. I can't imagine the challenge of both
bladder & bowel problems. In my house we're 'king and queen of the throne' (as
we say/joke) and split the difference of those problems between us. Double on
one... whoa!
Thanks, Tim,
