>Hi Jeanette,
I'm very sorry to hear of your problems. However being alive with a little
inconvenience I;m sure you will agree (is a piece of cake). I had my rectum and
colon removed about 1 1/2 years ago and I am left with a Illiostomy on my right
side.
I understand your unfortunate situation, maintain a positive attitude trust me
you will get used to your new way of life.
Good luck and God Bless!!

cancer 2 years ago, when I was 44. My best chance of a complete cure was to have
an abdomino perineal resection. So now I have a permanent colostomy. I'm not
complaining, because the alternative, as you know, was death. Now I get to watch
my kids grow up and I can continue with the obsession that is my hobby,
Astronomy.

with my surgeon on the 27th of July. Not looking forward to having old wounds
opened up. But the hernias aren't going to heal themselves now are they. I keep
looking beyond the surgery and post op healing to when I'm finally better.
