hello! im new to this group, my nmae is jen im 31 yrs old i have a great
husband brian and 2 great kids ben4 ashlyn2 .i got ulcerative colotis in the
summer of 2005,2 yrs later it got so bad that 2 small holes formed in my lg
intestine and a huge abcsess formed on the whole left side of my abdomen and i
had to have emergency surgey or i was going to die and they decided to take the
whole thing out cause it was so damaged from the colotis,i also was put into a
medically induced coma till alot of the abscess was gone and so the surgery
could heal.they were going to do the reversal but it turned out the stump they
left had colotis 2 so they removed that,so now i have an illestomy for life.ive
come to terms with it for the most part,but i really need to talk to people who
know exactly what im talking about,dont get me wrong i have a great support
system,my husband is amazing,i cant believe after all this he still finds me
attractive,but the only people who
could truly understand are the people have one and lived through it
