RE: [peoples with ostomy2] air travel

H\Greetings, ALL!
How does this newbie prepare and successfully accomplish airport, airplane
w/ seating/bathrooms, baggage, and all flying to Hawaii with my wife as a
2nd anniversary gift.
I'm in Bay Area California, USA
I am new to Ostomy and seem and a "tad" overloaded but seeking success in my
new life?
Haven't done a short trip yet, and this weekend is Heidi's (my wife)
Birthday. Would love to celebrate by going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium in
Monterey, California. Possible day trip or overnight.
Still having RN daily visits for wound care and Ostomy...but finally had 1st
real
Shower yesterday!
So you can see I am VERY NEW to all this...and really seeking "heartfelt"
Advise and connections.

Sorry if TMI (too much information). :-)
Please RSVP
Thanks to ALL with Love and Light,

The farthest I've flown is from Indiana to California and never had a
problem with pressure. I'm always careful to watch what I eat and drink so
that I don't have gas or extreme output. I've never seen the inside of
an
airplane lavatory before thanks to that!
