Hi Mimi,
Again, I am so sorry that no one responded! How is Tom doing at this
time? I have nver heard of hte small intestine twisting like you
described. It must be horrible that he is suffering so and you must
feel helpless. He is very fortunate to have someone like you in his
life, talk about a special person you must be.
I too have an Ileostomy due to rectal cancer. I opted ot have my
colon removed since I would always have the risk of colon cancer, why
tempt fate! Do they have him on a liquid diet or is it IV? I wonder
if he has some sort of inflamation that is causing the ileum to swell
and twist? If you still want ot talk let me know what is happening
with him now. I don't know much, but I can help you find out.
Acie
