Re: Tina this group is bust

I am so sorry Tina and Mimi that you have not received any responses.
I have been a member for a very long time and have seen much
activity, but it seems to go in cycles. I rarely respond because,
THANK YOU GOD, I have had so little complications from having an
ostomy. I have very little advice or suggestions for most of the
issues people ask about. I do feel one thing though Tina, when you
are in so much pain go to the ER, you should not be having pain. Ask
to see the ET nurse, in my local hospital we ask for the Wounds
Nurse. If your doctor cannot help you find one that can. If you have
a permenant bag you should not be getting stool out of your rectum,
sometimes there white matter but nothing that you described should be
happening nor should ther be pain. If this is occuring while you read
this go to the ER, no matter what youy pay or how you pay will matter
when you are in pain. It sounds as though you have some sort of
leakage to me. GO SEEK HELP!

Acie
