Hi all I am Mimi and I am the foster Mom to an adult with multiple
disabilities, his name here is Tom. In April 2007 he received an
Ileostomy. In April 2008 he
had surgery for a twisted bowel.........he was "sick" for over 6 weeks
before the medical profession put stock into what i was
saying........by then he was vomiting feces and his stoma had stopped
functioning....it should have never gotten to that point.

Well here we are 8 weeks post-op from the twisted bowel and they think
he has another one.........I am waiting for the medical community to
come up with a plan on how to diagnose it.....I guess they will have
to insert a gastric nasal tube to get the barium into him as he
refuses to swallow it............he had an endoscope Monday to rule
out an ulcer......so now we wait.......I really could use some input
please.
