I am scheduled for surgery on january 10th!! This is for the ostomy
reversal and the hernia repair!! I am to be in the hospital for 2-
4weeks,since my colon has been bypassed for 2 yrs now.The stricture
that was nessecitating the ostomy has been fixed with a colonic
wallstent.I was told this is a risky surgery given my poor health and
weight(212),so i am definately takin a chance!! But then I can eat
solids once again and no more hernia blockage!!I have a very competent
surgeon,so it should be succsesful. Of course I am a nervous wreck!! I
do not enjoy staying in a hospital!! I will be so glad when it is over
with!! anyone know someone who has had a reversal done???what can be
expected if so??
