so I came back from camp yesterday, I had fun but yeast is growing under the
pouch and I am using nystation powder, gold bond powder and the yeast keeps
growing at camp there was no a/c so now it's red, dry and hurts itches. is there
anything else I should be doing? my room is pretty cool with a/c. The colostomy
comes off on Monday, I don't know if my pca/mom should change it 3 times a week
as of right now it's only getting changed on Monday's and Fridays. August 9th,
I'm going to see a new colon rectal doctor closer to me, I am going to ask him
if he could make my stoma bigger and take the rest of my colon out. if anyone
has had their stoma revised does it hurt when you wake up from surgery? is it
better to have an colostomy? or ileostomy?
