Yesterday I ended up in the hospital, I started to get real cold and I felt like
I was going to pass out. 1st hospital was Burbank's Urget Care they thought I
had an UTI I didn't so 2nd hospital was in Leomister they did some test and my
white blood cells were higher so they had me go through an x-ray they gave me
Ativan through the IV I felt so drunk. The x-ray showed that my stomach was a
big balloon, so then they sent me to have a cat ct scan they had me drink this
nasty drink I was so grossed out. At 9:00pm they did the ct-scan wasn't bad at
at all, I got back to my room at 10:00 my mom and her boyfriend left to go check
on Lacy and had some dinner, so then they came back 10:45ish the doctor came
back and told me I didn't have a blockage I had a infection in my stomach. I got
home by 11:30 pm..
The doctor said I have an infection in my colon, every one has pockets in their
colon and sometimes the stool goes in the pockets and that is what caused my
infection. I'm on two medications. I have an appointment with my sergeon August
23rd, so hopefully between him and my primary doctor they can come up with an
idea how to prevent it coming back.
Have any of you ever had this type of infection?
