Hi Min:

I have never had a hernia, but I have had several revisions...some due to
blockages and a couple due to the stoma being flush. Stay in touch...there
are many in the group who can help with support. I have had mine for so long
..I just go with the flow, I guess, although I do keep an eye on it, and
also on what I eat, as it is quite small.

Hey,
last night I went to the ER and the doctor said I have a hernia it's around
the colostomy site. I do have a doctor's appt Jan 18, I haven't been doing
any heavy lifting. It burns at night when I get out of my wheelchair, but
the doctor said I can put heat or ice. If you've had one what have you done?
I have looked it up online and it said I can push the lump in if it comes
out to much.
But any idea's are welcome,
