On the 28th of July 2006, the PBCN Organizing Committee for the International Conference on the Eradication of Breast Cancer (Ice BC ) was convened as follows:

Rita, Elvie and Lyn have all been living with breast cancer
from 7-12 years without having undergone chemotherapy. They have all been pursuing non-toxic and non-invasive treatments in addressing their individual health situations. All mothers, they are also all educators by education and profession. They are all graduates of the PBCN”s Project BRCA and have all undergone detoxification protocols at the Tiaong Breast Haven on separate occasions.
Rita (soon turning 67) was diagnosed Stage 3B in 1994 at age 55 and had a mastectomy of her right breast. From the province of Basilan in Southwestern Mindanao , she is a widow with two daughters, two sons and twelve grandchildren. She is a former public official
after having been a teacher for several years. She is a founding member of the Western Mindanao Breast Cancer Action (WMBCA), based in Zamboanga City .
Elvie (soon turning 50) was diagnosed Stage 2 in 1999 at age 43 and had a lumpectomy of her right breast. From the province of Bulacan in Central Luzon , she is a single parent with a son. With a Doctorate on Education, she is presently a professor in two universities. She attended the 3rd and 4th World Conferences on Breast Cancer in Victoria , B.C. and Halifax , Nova Scotia . She is a board member of the PBCN and a founding member of the Breast Cancer Society of Manila.
Lyn (soon turning 47) was diagnosed in 1994 at age 35 and had a mastectomy of her left breast. She presently suffers from lymph edema on her left arm. From the province of Pampanga , she now resides in Batangas in Southern Luzon with her husband and two daughters. A Mathematics and Computer teacher for 17 years, she is presently a producer of Virgin Coconut Oil.
Cristy is the PBCN nurse and was a workshop & poster presenter during the 4th World Conference on Breast Cancer in Halifax , Nova Scotia , Canada . Having been with the PBCN since 2002, she is a resource speaker of the PBCN’s Project BRCA, takes charge of detoxification protocols at the Tiaong Breast Haven and assists during symposiums of the PBCN. She also takes charge of the PBCN’s resource center in Quezon City .
To be held at Villa Escudero in Tiaong, Quezon Povince on 18-22 February 2007, US$300 will be collected from each organization for every delegate. This will cover accommodations, all meals, land transfers and some conference expenses. Accommodations are based on four persons sharing a river unit but there will be additional charges for those who wish otherwise.
The conference will have the folowing agenda:
1. Assessment of all past world conferences on breast cancer since 1997
2. Formation of the International Breast Cancer Action
3. 2007 Global Action Plan for the Eradication of Breast Cancer
