Pastoral Counseling is a psychotherapy which uses spiritual resources as well as psychological understanding for healing and growth.
Most members of this forum are members of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. The members of AAPC are psychotherapists who have extensive professional training, skill, and experience in psychology AND theology. We provide clinically grounded and spiritually sensitive care to those who seek our assistance. AAPC represents over 3,000 Pastoral Counselors around the world.
This is a multi-faith forum. Pastoral Counselors are grounded in many faith traditions including Christian, Jewish, and others. Persons of all faiths are welcome here. Pastoral Counselors do not impose religious beliefs on others.
