The Pediatrician I go to has 3 kids with achon, so I
don't doubt his opinion. my concern is that my son
doesnt eat much at all. His doc has the achon growth
chart, but is concerned that he isnt gaining weight.
I trust him, but it seems that he is being lumped into
"failure to thrive" which from what I read focuses on
the environment. I can tell you that I am doing
EVERYTHING to help my son grow. He is just slow to
gain. I feel a lot better knowing that others have
slow weight gainers too. Thanks a lot

I echo Becky. Achons gain a little slower. Have you printed out the achon charts in the Files section? He should not be plotted on average height growth...

My son had a problem with eating solids, his gag reflex was so sensitive that if it wasn't liquid...it wasn't going down! I didn't think he was ever going to...
