This is a group for people who are following, or interested in, paleolithic nutrition (also known as the stone-age, caveman or paleo diet).
People are welcome to discuss diet-related health problems and weight loss. Obesity is obviously a serious and widespread diet-related health problem, but there are many others. Illnesses connected to (and potentially treatable by) diet include chronic fatigue, Crohn's disease, diabetes, hypertension, schizophrenia, and multiple sclerosis, Indeed most degenerative (ie non-infectious) diseases and many bizarre disorders of the human body are diet-related.
Please be open minded, and not too willing to accept or dismiss an idea (or a whole diet plan) on small details or hunches. Everyone who discovers paleolithic eating soon realises that there is far more to food than they ever realised, and nobody knows it all. By and large though, we are a group that believes people should eat meat and veg, which is not that crazy after all.
The main aim of the group is to discuss health-related issues, although there is a lot of discussion about cooking and lifestyle issues related to a paleolithic diet.
