So many of you have already sent personal messages to Congress on both the
egregious bankruptcy bill (over 16,000) and the awful Bolton nomination, and
opposition to both is rapidly mounting. Once thought to be a foregone
conclusion, final consideration of the "debt slavery" bankruptcy bill has been
put off until next week, as we have been joined in this campaign by
Democrats.com, PDA, the National Organization for Women and many more, a true
grassroots coalition.

At the same time, the more people find out about Bolton the more they are
horrified by the prospect of putting someone dedicated to destroying the U.N.
and riding roughshod over international opinion in such a sensitive diplomatic

Now more that ever, each and every one of us needs to make our voices heard on
both these critical questions of the moment. Public opinion is starting to turn
in America in a very dramatic way, and we have them on their heels whether they
will admit it on the television or not. WE the people are standing up to fight
for REAL justice while the other side has just tried to exploit the tragedy of
the unfortunate. They have squandered what little political capital they had,
just as they have trashed our economy, our environment, and even our military.
It's up to us to tell them just how upset we are at the misdirection they are
