Client, while on the job, is seriously injured when struck in the back by an
independently owned/operated dump truck. Client, and 3 eyewitnesses, testify
that they heard no back up alarm. Defendant testifies that he has a back up
alarm that cannot be defeated. One of the eyewitnesses, however, also
testifies that, subsequent to the incident (like 5 seconds later) he jumped
onto the driver's side steps to confront defendant about the collision and
the fact that no one heard a back up alarm. As he talks to the defendant
through the driver's side window, he literally sees the defendant flip a
toggle switch, throw the truck into reverse again, and say "see, my alarm's
working. "Since this is a he said/she said situation, I'm going to need an
expert to testify. Does anyone know a good expert in this area? And, more
importantly, I seek your collective wisdom to answer the following question:
Exactly what type of expert am I looking for???=====
