Thanks Basem and Nitin, good pick up on USS being a "reasonable" investigation
in UDT.
Another pet hate is the classification of intestinal atresia (p146) into types
1-4 with no mention of type 3a and 3b. Type 4 is described as "multiple (see
later)" and subsequent boxes list multiple atresia and apple peel following
immediately after, which to me gives the wrong impression.
Another colleague, who wishes to remain anonymous in order to retain his street
credibility, has pointed out that accompanying diagrams seem to illustrate a
colonic atresia (taenia visible), ignoring the 90% of small bowel atresias and
again potentially misleading some poor souls.
