OOPE. The message is as follows...

Thank you for the opportunity to talk to the inaugural meeting of the trainees
group at
BAPS. In our department at RCH Melbourne, we have been able to persuade the
state
government to keep 1 of our registrar training posts vacant for an overseas
graduate, and
in most recent years this has been a UK trainee.

The department is currently looking for prospective UK trainees that would like
to spend a
year in Melbourne for the 2008-2009 with a job commencing on the 1/8 to the 31/7
the
following year. Although Melbourne seems a long way from UK, the distance is
really an
advantage. For trainees looking to enhance and broaden their skills and learn a
whole lot
of different ways of doing things, Melbourne is the place to be. Any UK trainee
that would
like to consider spending some time in Melbourne should contact me directly, and
if they
are really keen they should ask their consultant supervisors to contact me
directly.
