The recent suvey of trainees indicates that the number of trainees obtaining CCT
in the next
4 years will be close to 60 with more trainees eligible to apply through the
article 14 route or
from the EU. There may well not be an equivalent number of vacant consultant
posts.
Unemployment post-CCT in Paediatric Surgery is a real possiblity. This was
discussed at the
