Dear Liam
I think we need to send a letter representing the Paediatric
surgical trainees to JHCT or RCS asking them to clarify this non
sense.
As Jes mentioned in an earlier email that at the time of our
interviews we were contracted for a trainning scheme that will lead
to a CCST award. They can't change that overnight! otherwise an
early legal action from our side is the best thing to do.
The other point is where are our BAPS representatives
(i.e.Consultants) from all this dilemma, do paediatric surgeons have
a say? Are they happy with adult Urologists dictating our future
careers?
I think our seniors need to have a clear statement about that as
well.
Best wishes
Hany
