Hi, I'm a research fellow based in York but with affiliations to Leeds and am in the final 6 months of a PhD. I've been following the threads with interest as my chosen career path is paediatric surgery, especially urology. Thank you for the updates, they have been very useful. I one of the folk who will be applying for ST3 and deferring until a) I have finished research and b) I have worked in paeds surg for 6/12 as an SHO as I have not done this before.

Currently, BMJ careers are still referring to all jobs as SHO/Reg etc. and so I am not sure where these post will be advertised. If you know, could you tell me where I should be keeping a look out for these posts and when, for a presumed December application deadline, they may be released?
