Some you may or may not have seen this, but the new Curriculum
project, developed with the Royal Colleges, is slowly becoming more
informative.

People undergoing MMC will already be familiar with this. It is
located at:

And there is a paediatric surgery section. The early years are
currently better than the later stages, but this is expected to change.

There are still a number of questions about this, namely:

1. When will it apply to current SpRs, especially those more senior?
2. Will the exit exam be adjusted to take the curriculum into account
(almost certainly, but when)?
3. Will the exit exam cover topics not in the official curriculum?

I should hopefully get some answers to these questions at the next
intercollegiate board meeting and will keep you posted.
