I attended 'International Symposium in Neonatal Screening' from 16th to
20th september in Japan.

During meeting I realised that India with highest population is not
doing neonatal screeing for Congenital hypothyroidism, and hearing test
as well. The world is doing atleast > 40 diseases screening after birth.

It seems United Nation & other agengies wanted to help out with
starting Newborn screening project, but were not successful.

Anyone knows the right people who can assist in starting this project?
may be Neonataologist, health ministers etc..

I have E mail and contacts of people from UN, who really want sponsore
this project.
