Dear ISABEL User Following our recent exciting update informing you of the new features now included in ISABEL, I am writing to update you further on the text available for display, namely sub-speciality text. Currently, after a general differential diagnosis request, when you click on one of the diagnoses, you are able to read text from a general paediatric textbook (Nelsons 16th Edition). From today, following a sub-speciality differential diagnosis request, when you click on any one of the list of given diagnoses, the system will automatically display text from a sub-speciality text book - not a general one. For your information, the specialist textbooks we are displaying as a pilot are: Cardiovascular: Moller & Hoffman Endocrinology: Sperling Haematology: Lilleyman, Hann & Blanchette Infectious Diseases: Feigin & Cherry Urology: Gearhart, Rink & Mouriquand We are able to! display these texts as a result of our collaborative relationship with the publishers, Elsevier Sciences. I sincerely hope that you find this enhances your use of ISABEL. As this is a pilot, we welcome any comments from you to feedback@... Once again, thank you for your continued support and use of the system. I hope that you will recommend the ISABEL system to our colleagues. Warm Regards Joseph Joseph Britto MD Consultant and Hon.
