Hi everyone,
I'm interested to hear from people who have had experience with putting inserts
into twin prams. I have a client who is 2, going on 3 and requires a customised
insert to maintain an upright sitting posture. This is currently mounted in her
stroller. Mum is due to have another baby shortly and would like to use a twin
pram to get the two children out and about. I therefore am looking for a
suitable twin pram into which we can mount her postural insert. We have had a
few similar situations here at the CP assn of WA - generally, the concensus is
that a forward/ backward pram is more suited to this purpose than the side by
side (as these don't always have a central structural bar to mount the insert
onto). We have also had clients who have had a Mountain Buggy modified to fit
the insert in the back and a baby seat mounted on the front (however this baby
seat is only suitable for children who can sit up). If anyone has had any other
successful experiences or can recommend a particular model, that would be much
appreciated. Also does anyone know of a 'Twin Group' or similar organisation in
WA where we might be able to talk to someone re: a second-hand pram??
Many thanks,
