Does anyone have a list of general precautions/ recommendations for children
with hydrocephalus and a shunt that would be suitable for parents to pass on to
a preschool/ school. Also any references/articles would be appreciated. I have
done a database search but haven't come up with anything that looks appropriate.
The family have already discussed this with their neurosurgeon and he has
suggested avoiding contact sports but the family would like more information.
