It definately gets better and you are far from alone. There are a couple of
sites that have been very helpful for me: Shaz's Ostomy Pages -

I have had my colostomy since January 1997 but felt all alone until recently
after I found these two sites. On Shaz's Pages you can probably find the answer
to any questions that you may have already posted. If you have a question that
hasn't been posted yet just post it and you'll get plenty of help.
