Hello,
Glad to hear you all are getting some answers finally... Sometimes we
all forget we need to makesure the dr's are making things clear so we
understand them, IN OUR TERMS!!!!! They have away sometimes of making
us feel like were idiots because were not all M.D.'s. You husband is
lucky to have you on his side...
As for lifting and his work, I am not sure how much he lifts but in
time he should be able to resume all normal activities and job
functions also. The most important thing is to not push things to
quickly because it is possible to herniate your stoma or stomach for
that matter and he's just gone thru some major surgery. I practiced
martial arts 6 months after my surgery, but took me a good year
before I was strong enought to spar (fighting with a partner) So in
time his life will return to normal... Were here for you if you need
us ...
Fondly,
Shannon

has been seen by another doctor and is having a cat scan today to see
what the problem is they think something in side might have slipped
and that this is causing the problem this will result in more surgery
but at least we will have answers and the doctors will hopefully be
able to correct it.thanks again for getting in contact.another
question i have is after you fully recover from the operation are you
still able to lift normal as he is worried about his job.
