Re: [Ostomates Support] help

My doctor told me just after my surgery
that the intestines dont like to be handled
and sometimes take longer to take overand pick back up
where the missing colon left off.

my husband is in his eleventh day after operation.he has not eaten
since the op and has been feed through a drip but for the last two
days his bag has not been working and every thing they drip feed him
goes straight into his bag so it is filling up his bag every half
hour with just his food .he has been put on a icu ward and has a
nurse with him around the clock but doctors seem unable to explain
why this is happening.has this happened to you or ant one you
know.any help i would be very grateful for.
