Kevin, I have found the other members of this group very helpful and
most supportive.
However without details it is sometimes hard to give the right
advice. ( eg In terms of recovery, what sort of surgery did your girl
friend have?... Have there been post op complications?.... Has she
come to terms with the physiological changes to her body?( To have
post op psychological trauma and denial is not uncommon. )etc...)
Members of the this group try their utmost to give sound advice to
the best of their ability to address specific problems I have found.
And the advice given by gjimai would seem to be sound advice and an
excellent starting point for your girlfriend. Meantime I am sure the
rest of the members of this group will try to help as best they can.
Trust me. They did it for me and for lots of others. We have all been
through similar experiences to varying degrees. To have a patient,
supportive partner was a huge bonus for me. Good luck to you both in
this difficult time.
