Surgery

hi dear friends
greetings, how are u all? I would like to share my problems with you
all if you have any suggestions for my surgery and recurrence of
tumour again on my colostomy area on the left.

The PET scans and the Colonoscopy were clear. The CT scan (of the
chest/abdomen/pelvis) revealed that there was a small nodule in the
left lung (size – 1.1cm by 0.9cm). It is not sure whether that is
cancerous or not. I have an appointment with Dr. Robert Downey, a
chest surgeon on Tuesday, May 6 to evaluate that. There are also
couple of spots on the vertebra (which have been seen in earlier
scans) and we have scheduled a whole body bone scan on Friday, May
2nd.

Separately, the tumor in the abdominal wall is about the size of a
walnut and needs to be removed by surgery. The colostomy may need to
be moved as part of this surgery. Dr. Wong is available for surgery
on June 10th and her pre-admission tests are scheduled for June 4th.
I will need to probably stay in hospital for a week post surgery and
will need to stay in the US for about 3-4 weeks after the surgery for
recovery. `

Chemotherapy will probably be required after this surgery and can be
done in India. Radiation is unlikely.
