Hello, looking for information on adoption or helping orphaned
children/teenagers.  Any information will help.

I would like to tell everyone. First losing my parents was very hard
for me. But i did learn this past year, I gained a relationship with
my foster brother and sister, which I thought would have not been,
after the death of OUR parents. I might not have been in the will..
but a gained more than money can buy...a sister and a brother. We stay
in contact with each other every week ,where before there was nothing.
Sometimes God gives us Mountains to climb. I learned to
climb...instead of self pity. I made it...Thank you for your support.
My parents left me with a Sister and a Brother, Im truly blessed.
Thank You Mom and Dad..and to this person that started this message
board and site. ( For see I just read your message today 11/14/06.
Today a year ago we buried mom, on this day...Thank you..And i never
look towards the courts... I too beleive I ganined more...I know I did.
Mom and Dad they knew just what I needed...2 people to hold my hand in
case I stumple.. Thanks Mom and Dad, you never keep surprizing me)

Hello: My Name is Erich, and I am the person who started this group
many years ago. I wanted to write you in response to your situation. I
hope you know the gift of what your foster parents gave you by raising
you, and really making you feel as if you were theirs has nothing to do
with how money they left you in their will. It would really be a slap
in the face to them, if that is really your only interest in this whole
experience with them being in your life. If it is then pursue this, by
literally calling up the biological children and letting them know you
were informed by which ever parent that you understand that you were in
the will. If they choose to give you problems and not let you know if
you are part of the will, then you may want to consult a attorney to
work with you on seeing if you are in the will. You also may want to go
to the courthouse and do a little research to see what is in probate,
and how that is being handled. Who is the attorney involved? You may be
able to bypass the biological children all together, and just consult
the attorney invovled with the case in probate. If I were in your
shoes, I would cherish the memories of what this family offered to do
for me by taking me in, and not tarnish the experience because of
greed. If parents really intended for you to have something. I am sure
you would have been given a copy of the will, or you would have been
insistent in getting it prior to them expiring. I hope things work out
for you, and that you focus on the gift that was given and not the
greed.
